HỌC PHÍ VÀ HỌC BỔNG CHO NĂM HỌC 2013

VGU is a university project from the Vietnamese and German governments. Thus, the tuition fees are substantially subsidized by the two governments and are very attractive considering the high quality education offered.

Tuition Fee philosophy of VGU

Our tuition fees remain constant for the whole intake and cover all costs of enrollment and examination during the regular duration of the whole program. There are different types of tuition fees for Bachelor programs, Master full-time, Master part-time programs and the MBA program.

Tuition fees and scholarship-system in 2013

After consideration of the market demand on VGU’s study programs and the experiences during the last three years, VGU has decided to develop a new system for tuition fees and scholarships in 2013. Both the new tuition fees and scholarships only apply for the new intake of 2013! So if you have started in an earlier intake, your original fees and scholarships remain valid during the regular duration of your program. Only if you want to change from an earlier intake to the new intake of 2013, the new tuition fees apply to you also.

  • Merit scholarships for students who achieve the best study results;
  • Social scholarships for students with especially difficult financial situation;
  • Industry scholarships.

1. Merit scholarships: VGU scholarships are issued on an annual basis, based on the results of the VGU’s entrance test in 1st year and the performance/success in the program for subsequent years. Scholarship Ranking is based on following factors:

The 1st year

Subsequent year

40% Bachelor Degree + 30% Entrance Exam + 30% English Exam

GPA of the preceding study year  (average of all modules in the schedule of the program)

Best students will get scholarships as follows:

  • The best 10% students will get scholarships of 35% of the tuition fee.
  • The next best 10% students will get scholarships of 20% of the tuition fee.

2. Regarding social scholarships for especially difficult financial situation, VGU extracts a part of its fund for grating scholarships to students with especially difficult financial situation. Specific circumstances shall be decided by the President.

3. Industry scholarships, imperative of non-accumulation: Beside VGU’s scholarships, there might be industry scholarships. However, VGU’s students can only receive 01 type of scholarship, either VGU’s scholarship or Industry Scholarship, based on the decision of the president.
