An admission prerequisite for every student is a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in
-    Spatial Planning
-    Urban Planning
-    Architecture
-    Civil Engineering
-    Geodesy
-    Geography
-    or an equivalent degree.
The acceptance of the degree will be decided by the director of the study programme, occasionally in coordination with the involved lecturers.
The BSc-degree should comprise a minimum of 12 CP in Sustainable Urban Development related courses and activities, and the final evaluation mark should be at least "good" (grade 2.5 in Germany, 6.0-6.5 in Vietnam) or equivalent.

Job Perspectives

Graduates from this course will be able to critically analyze and assess the growing problems in urban areas and to develop appropriate solutions from different aspects (architectural, social, economical and ecological). They will be able to work with different teams, build up a world-wide network of professional contacts, coordinate and connect individual project elements to each other. Graduates of this program can take up managerial positions in urban development and real estate projects, public administration, international planning consultant agencies etc.
