The MSc SUD is structured into basic courses (18 CPs), main courses (46 CPs), specialization courses (18 CPs), multidisciplinary courses (14 CPs), and the master thesis (24 CPs).
To guarantee a consistent knowledge-level and reduce efforts in the special studies the students are offered three basic courses (18 CPs in total). The basic knowledge will be expanded during the further studies.
The special studies start with the main courses covering eight modules (46 CPs in total). The main modules impart specific knowledge in selected specific topics of the sustainable urban development. The main courses are obligatory for each student.
The specialization “development” is focused on the developing as well as the redeveloping of residential sub-districts and complex of buildings. The specialization contains three courses (18 CPs in total).
Multidisciplinary modules qualify the students for scientific work and train soft skills. The multidisciplinary contains two courses (14 CPs in total).
Master thesis shows the student’s ability to solve a scientific problem of sustainable urban development within a given period of time using scientific methods (24 CPs).
Since the academic year 2016 - 2017, SUD Study Program will be held at HCMC TEG Building (307A Nguyen Trong Tuyen Street, Ward 10, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City).
