Advanced Physical Sensors

Learning goals

The students know the most important sensor principles for physical parameters and can critically evaluate application in different environments; they know the special requirements of signal processing, understand the theoretical models and are able to combine sensors to evaluate not directly measurable parameters.

  • Galvanomagnetic Sensors
  • Inductive Sensors
  • Eddy-Current Sensors
  • Magnetization Sensors
  • Super Conducting Quantum Interference Devices (SQUIDs)
