Candidates will have to go through an entrance test OR an interview specified for each Master program and an English test. The specific sample tests can be downloaded from the web page of each study program.
IELTS or TOEFL score is not required in the application process but all students have to prove it within the first semesters of the program. Candidates who can prove IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 550 (PBT), 79 (IBT) right now, do not have to take the English Test.
Specified guidelines for entrance test of each Master program:
After submitting the scores, shortlisted students will receive invitation to take VGU's own Entrance Tests. VGU's entrance tests are independent of the National Exam. Students will receive the test results from VGU before the result of the National Exam and can still apply for other universities with the result from National Exam if needed.

This intake is for students who didn't take part or didn't succeed in the VGU's May intake but wish to have a place at VGU. Submit the national exam scores (at least 21 marks) and go through VGU’s English test.
The English Test, called the "Onscreen" test, done on a computer. The Onscreen Test takes 30 minutes to complete.
