This module aims to equip students with knowledge of foreign languages, human resource management, information management, computer techniques, project management, implementing of change process and system planning.

Course contents

  • Strategy and Operations (Developing competitive strategies; The internationalisation process; Technology collaboration and transfer; Five Forces Model; SWOT-Analysis; Industrial market strategies; Problems of International Diversification) 
  • Comprehensive introduction to operations structure and function, material management, logistics within the company, production management, strategic and operative production program, computer-assisted management in production, production planning and control, cost calculation with cost-category accounting, cost center accounting and cost category accounting, break-even analysis, investment calculation based on computing processes, human resources, production management, balance sheets, financing, choice of legal structure.
